To Whom It May Concern: My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting a rehearsal dinner and dance for my son and his fiancé’s wedding on March 28, 2008 at Heron Lakes Country Club. We were lucky enough to have seen Danny Sommers at another wedding we attended earlier in the year and when the engagement was announced and we began our wedding planning, we immediately thought of him. Mr. Sommers became instrumental in planning our dinner and dance. My husband and I had never planned a large wedding and Danny was very helpful with all of the details that are so important. If I can think of one word to describe him, I think that it would be “facilitator”. He set up for the seated dinner, welcomed all our guests, played appropriate music during the dinner hour, and after dinner was so helpful during the toasting, etc. One area that I was very concerned about was the transition from the seated dinner with one group of guests, to the dance, which included some additional guests. Danny handed this transition with ease. When our guest migrated to the dance floor, he very pleasantly welcomed everyone on our behalf and introduced the wedding video. After that, the part of the dance that the wedding couple enjoyed so much was the games that they and all their guests participated in. My husband and I, along with all of our guests, had a very enjoyable evening and we can attribute that enjoyment to the DJ. He has the ability to assess his audience immediately and perform accordingly.
